Norbert Golinski

Rebel Capital Advisors, LLC is a significant shareholder and is wholly owned by Norbert (Bert) C. Golinski. The primary purpose of the entity is to provide capital to early stage technology companies. To date, Rebel Capital has invested in more than forty companies with potentially disruptive technologies.

Prior to starting Rebel Capital, Mr. Golinski was a founding member of the management team of Aeolus Reinsurance Ltd., a Bermuda-based reinsurance company founded in July 2006, and its President for the duration of his tenure. During Mr. Golinski’s 5 1/2-year tenure, Aeolus Reinsurance became one of the most profitable mid to large size start-up reinsurance companies in the history of the industry.

Prior to Aeolus Reinsurance Ltd., Mr. Golinski was a Managing Director at Guy Carpenter where he formed and headed Guy Carpenter’s Bermuda operations after working for five years in Guy Carpenter’s U.S. offices. Prior to Guy Carpenter, Mr. Golinski worked at SCOR Re from 1993 to 1995 and Prudential Re from 1988 to 1993.

Mr. Golinski received a B.S. degree in Financial Management in 1988 from Clemson University, his CPCU in 1992, his ARe in 1993, and his M.B.A. from Temple University in 1997.
